I am pretty sure I was peer-pressured into doing this :P Now that I’m in, please help me reach my goal of raising $200 for my team. Make a donation today!
With the click of a mouse you can make a secure, tax-deductible online donation. You will not only be supporting me, you will be funding the fight against the No. 1 killer of Americans. The link below will take you to my personal donation page.
Did you know that heart disease claims the lives of more people than the next 3 leading causes of death combined? Here is how your online donation will help:
- $25 gives 50 people educational materials that teach them how to personally reduce their risk of heart diseases and stroke
- $50 delivers the message of healthy nutrition to elementary school students through lesson plans and activity guides
- $100 allows one hospital to teach its patients, caregivers, and health professionals about the risks of stroke – the nation’s No. 4 killer
Chances are you or someone you know has a connection to heart disease or stroke - forward this message to your friends and family. Thank you, in advance, for your support!

Eggs and hummus, it’s quite tasty! Except I would always make my hard boiled eggs all wrong: egg whites chewy and robbery, and egg yolk dry and sandy. So I looked up methods of making the perfect hard boiled eggs. Turned out there’s a reason why people post these things online… for people like me who are doing it wrong :P
Place eggs in a pot; pour enough water over the eggs to cover, plus an inch over. Add some salt. Cover and turn stove to high. Bring to a full boil, then turn off stove. Let the pot sit with the cover on for 15 minutes. Meanwhile, fill a large bowl halfway with cold water; transfer the eggs from the pot to the cold water. Replace the water with cold water as needed to keep cold until the eggs are completely cooled.

If the eggs crack in the pot, add some vinegar. This will prevent the egg white from seeping through, thus keeping the eggs in their egg shaped form. Some netizens think that vinegar alters the taste of the egg. You should experiment on your own. I don’t care enough about the form so I didn’t add any vinegar to my pot.
